The Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach, FL hired us to move, reconstruct and restore a giant ground sloth, giant glyptodont and mastodon for their new natural history hall. Additionally, we built exhibit surroundings with tempered glass railing for the sloth, glyptodont and mastodon. The bones of the mastodon were mounted to a backdrop images of its skeleton.

Sanctuary Reef Exhibit

Sanctuary Reef is a traveling exhibit we built for the Mote Aquarium in Sarasota, FL. It is an exhibit about the national marine sanctuary in Key West, FL. It included highly detailed replicas of corals and animals found on the reef. All of the sculptures are created 10 times larger that life, to see the amazing array of biodiversity on the reef.

Play Zone Children's Exhibit

Play Zone Children's Exhibit

We were commissioned to build a nature themed play area for the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. It is based on natural habitats of southwest Florida and includes a gopher tortoise burrow, mangrove forest and bold eagle nest. There are many illustration of native animals that can be found in the area and is made of formaldehyde free plywood, reclaimed hardwoods and zero VOC paints.

This traveling exhibit was built for the Georgia Sea Turtle Center and is depicting the diamondback terrapin turtle. It includes graphic displays, highly detailed dioramas and interactive elements.

This traveling exhibit was built for the Georgia Sea Turtle Center and is depicting migratory ocean birds. It includes graphic displays, highly detailed dioramas and interactive elements.

Aquifer Exhibit

Aquifer Exhibit

This small traveling exhibit was built for the Alachua County Department of Environmental Protection. It shows the interconnected structure of the Floridan aquifer and how the use of water resources effect the environment.

This replica of the Mastodon at the Florida Museum of Natural History was articulated using a steel frame for the Brevard Museum in Cocoa, FL.

Artifact Mounts

Artifact Mounts

Artifact mounts are an important part of museum exhibit and our business. These are examples of mounts we have made for history and archeology exhibits.

Kinetic Bike Sculptures

Over the past years, we have been building kinetic sculptures from reused material, including salvaged bikes, wood, cardboard and paper and reclaimed house paint. The finished pieces are nearly completely made of reused material. The Sculptures include a goldfish, shark submarine, elephant and alligator. We continue to build more of these fun projects which will be used in Gainesville's first kinetic derby- Menagerie in Motion.

Florida Museum of Natural History

The Florida Museum of natural History is an important client. We have completed many projects for them, including full size trees made from steel for the Hall of Florida Fossils, a children's play area featuring another tree made from wood and a full size model of an extinct turtle from Columbia.

Virgil Hawkins Exhibit

This project was built for the university of Florida College of Law about Virgil Hawkins, who was instrumental in the desegregation of the UF Law School.

Illustrations

Illustrations

Illustrations are an important part of any exhibit. These are examples of some of the illustrations we have produced for projects. They included traditional painting, digital painting, Photoshop and Illustrator compositions.

Furniture Design

Designing and fabrication furniture is a rewarding process. each piece needs to be functional and beautiful. These examples of previous work include bamboo veneered headboard and end tables, curved maple chair and chairs and stools made from salvaged bike frames.

FSU Film School

FSU Film School

We were hired to create movie props, including three wolves, a rat and dragon fly for a film project at the Florida State University Film School. All of the sculptures were built from reclaimed material accord from the local recycle center in Tallahassee.

This is a small traveling exhibit for the Sea Turtle Conservancy about proper coastal lighting to protect hatching sea turtles.
